ReGenEarth joins the global climate movement for ‘Show Your Stripes’ Day – 21st June

Reading Time: < 1 minute

On 21st June, ReGenEarth were proud to take part in ‘Show Your Stripes’ Day — a global initiative designed to raise awareness of climate change through one of the most recognisable visual tools in climate science.
The iconic ‘warming stripes’, created by Professor Ed Hawkins from the University of Reading, represent the shift in global temperatures over the past 150+ years. Each stripe corresponds to a single year, moving from cooler blues to increasingly intense reds, a striking, data-driven reminder of our planet’s rapid warming since the Industrial Revolution.

Why it matters

At ReGenEarth, our mission is rooted in driving natural climate solutions, and that starts with education and awareness. Show Your Stripes Day is an opportunity to engage a wider audience with the facts of climate change, in a format that’s both accessible and impactful.
By embracing this global campaign, we’re reaffirming our commitment to climate transparency, science-led action, and the power of collective voices to drive change.

Wearing our message

To mark the occasion, ReGenEarth colleagues are showing solidarity — and a bit of leg — by proudly donning their ‘Show Your Stripes’ socks. From Bloomberg to boardroom, to Biochar sites, our team has embraced the moment with colour, creativity, and climate commitment.
Whether serious or playful, each sock selfie and leg reveal is a reminder of what’s at stake, and a light-hearted way to spark serious conversations about the future of our planet.

Making climate change visible

Show Your Stripes Day reminds us that climate change isn’t invisible - it’s happening, it’s measurable, and it’s happening now. At ReGenEarth, we’re proud to stand behind the science and continue working towards a regenerative, carbon-smart future.
